The Santoku is Japan's all-purpose kitchen knife — and at 220mm, this one gives you the reach to handle larger cuts without losing the flat-edge control that makes a Santoku so efficient for everyday prep. Where a Western chef's knife rocks, the Santoku chops cleanly straight down, which means less effort and more consistent results on vegetables, fish and boneless meat.
Forged with a 67-layer VG10 Damascus core, the blade holds a sharp edge well and resists corrosion without demanding constant maintenance. The Damascus cladding creates a distinctive pattern across the blade and helps reduce drag when cutting — food releases more cleanly with each stroke.
The solid oak handle is warm in the hand and keeps the knife balanced through longer sessions at the cutting board.
